Total Cost of Ownership ‘TCO’
Like all savvy modern day shoppers and buyers – a core factor of any decision when making a purchase will be weighing up the total cost of ownership or TCO. You can buy cheap now and pay more later, you can even pay more now with traditional systems and still pay more later or you can do it the H4Heat way!
Key areas of savings are achieved through the differences of how a convective operates compared to a Far Infrared system. Heating convectively means you will require a greater ‘load’ (Especially with other electric heaters) or energy consumption to achieve the same consistent levels of room temperature.
A Herschel Far Infrared panel heaters are non-directional which means, fitted correctly, it is able to heat all the surfaces in a room, creating an even spread or throw of heat allowing it the ability to maintain a consistent temperature. By heating the ‘objects’ (Walls, Floor, Furniture, Us!) or the thermal mass in the environment it in turns allows the ‘objects’ to absorb, store and return the heat to the environment providing an even and comfortable temperature.
When you compare the cost of a replacement boiler or alternative heating system to an installation of Far Infrared panels, often the initial outlay or capital costs will be slightly higher. However, when you take into account the on-going costs of energy consumption, maintenance and repairs the initial cost difference dissipates quickly when you compare the on-going running costs.
